Even in this age of cell phones, it’s hard to imagine London’s streets without the famous telephone boxes. Alas, these bright red symbols of London are gradually disappearing from the streets of the city, but you can still find a few examples. You’ll still find most of them in places like the Strand and you’ll certainly get a chance to capture yourself in front of a vanishing icon of London’s urban landscape. And if you’re a fan of the long-running British Doctor Who series you’ll probably prefer the blue box near Earl’s Court subway station.
